Who we are

CastMint is a service that generates personalized daily podcasts based on topics you configure. This page explains what data we collect and what we do with it.

What we collect

• Account info: your email address (required for sign-in), and your name and profile picture if you sign in with Google.
• Podcast configuration: the topics, RSS feeds, URLs, and preferences you save when creating a podcast.
• Generated content: the scripts and audio episodes our pipeline produces from your configuration.
• Usage logs: aggregate metrics (token counts, generation costs) used to operate the service.

We do not collect your IP address, browsing history, or any data outside what you explicitly provide.

How we use it

We use your data only to operate the service: authenticate you, generate your podcast, deliver episodes via RSS, and send the occasional service email (sign-in links, episode-ready notices). We do not sell your data and we do not use it to train any model.

Third-party services

CastMint sends data to the following processors as needed to operate:

• OpenAI (script and audio generation) — receives your topic prompts and generated text
• Resend (transactional email) — receives your email address to deliver sign-in links
• Google (sign-in via OAuth) — only if you choose Google sign-in
• Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Cloudflare (DNS, file storage) — infrastructure providers

Your podcast feed

By design, your generated podcast is published to a public RSS URL so you can subscribe in Apple Podcasts, Spotify, etc. Anyone with the URL can listen. The URL contains your podcast’s slug; it is not enumerable, but it is not secret either. Your account email is never included in the RSS feed.

Your rights

You can delete your account at any time, which removes all associated data (podcasts, episodes, audio files). Email hello@castmint.me for export, deletion, or any other request.

Cookies

We set one HTTP-only cookie containing a signed session token, used to keep you signed in. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party tracking.

Changes

If we change how data is handled, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date.
